Yuliesky González cuban trumpet player grew up surrounded by music.
Born into a musician family in Camagüey, the young trumpet player stubbornly followed the footsteps of both his father, grandfather and uncle, when insisting on practicing the trumpet, as much as they tried to talk him out of the idea.
At the age of ten, he entered one of Cuba ́s finest school, Vocational School of Art "Luis C. Romero". Two years in the row, at the age of both 14 and 15, he was selected best student.
His professional experience took off as he simultaneously began his studies at Music Professional School "José White", performing with the Symphonic Orchestra of Camagüey and some of the local bands. At this time became interested in improvisation, both in Cuban Traditional music as well as in some Jazz styles.
