A PROPOS

In 2002, at the age of 8, Lexi, a girl unfamiliar with carols, unexpectedly found herself chosen for a solo in the choir, unknowingly instigating a newfound courage within her. Participating in contests each year, she passionately sang her favorite numbers, ranging from Céline Dion to Evanescence, daring to perform Hard Rock in an all-girls convent. In 2008, trouble with the nuns ensued when they overheard Lexi singing "If I were a Boy," unwilling to acknowledge poetic depth when it came from an unconventional voice. This incident only fueled her rebellious spirit.
The pinnacle of her early musical journey arrived in 2012 when she won her first Battle of the Bands with a spirited rendition of "Zombie" in the school's sister convent. Facing societal challenges and lack of privilege, Lexi sought refuge in music, utilizing it as a source of comfort. College led her to the cultural club, an arena not necessarily glamorous but profoundly meaningful to her. Reveling in the spotlight, Lexi embraced her muse.
Post-engineering in 2017, she tenaciously pursued her musical dreams, burning the midnight oil as a karaoke host and part-time vocalist, engaging in fundraising charities for animals, and writing her own compositions. Attempting to launch her band, 'Between Green n’ Me,' during a 3-day Artist Connect, she encountered many challenges. She was lacking in both resources, and community support. This experience shed light on the disconnect between art and fundraising, prompting Lexi to take time off for a thorough investigation.
Luckily, love and passion found their place in Lexi's life, forming a sturdy foundation for her artistic pursuits. Now, nearly five years later, armed with an unwavering support system, guided by spiritual self development, and fueled by an unyielding motivation, Lexi is steadfast in her mission to collaborate with like-minded, eco-inspired, nature-loving musicians. Together, they aim to ensure the success of her latest endeavor, "Songs for Nature - Part 1 and 2." Beyond being a musical triumph, this project stands as a testament to Lexi's resilience and unwavering commitment to creating art that fosters real change.
The path ahead not only promises musical success but also seeks to inspire people to reconnect with nature, fostering empathy and embracing their humanity. This artistic journey is an adventure that unfolds, resonating with Lexi's profound dedication and passion for both music and the environment. Through her work, she aspires to encourage a deeper connection with nature, evoke empathy, and ignite a more profound sense of humanity in her listeners.
